Obtained from the maceration of wild strawberries (Fragaria vesca) which have an intense fragrance. Romantically speaking, they are called the “fruit of love”, and the leaves are considered to be good luck charms. It’s best served cold and straight up. Considered a dessert liqueur, it’s excellent for accompanying pastries and on ice cream.  It goes well with cheeses, especially with gorgonzola. Great for fragrant cocktails and desserts,  and can be enjoyed at any hour of the day.
