This liqueur is obtained from the infusion of fresh, organic lemon rinds (citrus limonum) which are cultivated in our area. Favored by the climate, they are rich in essential oils that give it a fresh and perky taste. They were considered indispensable in the treatment of scurvy by sailors, who did not fail to obtain large supplies of lemons before each trip. It is best served straight up and icy, and is ideal at the end of a meal. It’s very versatile, for  it  can be used in the preparation of desserts, cakes, to enhance fruity or creamy ice cream and in fruit salads. It’s also a great ingredient for the preparation of long drinks and cocktails.
